Summary

This project is follow-up work on an excellent study by Danny Holten and Jarke van Wijk (pdf here). The original study evaluated several different types of directed edge visualization and our projected extended this investigation to cover a more comprehensive list of edge visualizations. We did two follow-up studies. One is covered in the techreport listed below and led to new hypotheses which we tested for a paper presented at PacificVis 2011 (also listed below).
